Understory Network Weaver

Katy joined the Understory Project in 2025 as a Network Weaver, and focusses on gathering people in conversations about nature, imagination and care for the place we live. As a systems coach, forest therapy guide and facilitator, she is interested in how we learn and live well in groups, and is trained in methods that help us re-connect to our selves, each other and nature.

She grew up a few miles from Watchet, and is rediscovering West Somerset after 20 years away, initially working in advertising in London, and then designing outdoor adventures in remote parts of the world. She spends her time outside Onion hosting retreats that inspire collective action around climate and environmental change.
