Makers Club

Bringing makers in West Somerset together

Makers Club meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6.30pm in Watchet. It is free and open to everyone with an interest in making.  The idea is to come, be inspired, meet like minded people, network, swap skills and have fun.  Each week we invite a 'maker' to talk about their trade or particular skill, so that other makers might feel inspired by their journey and feel empowered to take a similar path. Come along and find out more! The meetings are always informal, welcoming, inspiring and heart warming. It is the story of how making, in what ever form that may take, gives purpose, pleasure and well being, however difficult the journeys may be!

Next meeting: SORRY CANCELLED! (Will be rescheduled)

Tuesday 13th September 2016, 6.30pm, Esplanade Club, Watchet, speaker Alex McDonald

Alex is a robotics and electronics specialist, he will be speaking about new electronics workshops at Watchet Community Workshops

Makers Club is funded by the West Somerset Our Place Skills Swap, and is supported by Family Focus and also the West Somerset Community Employment Hub, held at the Sanctuary, Watchet.
